Audubon Adventures

Audubon Adventures is a curriculum enhancement program used primarily in grades 4 to 6 to teach children science, environmental topics and respect for nature, and to support reading, writing and other communication skills. The materials are written and developed by professional educators and present scientifically accurate facts about birds, wildlife and their habitats and needs.
Audubon Adventures is on of the National Audubon Society's primary outreach programs for children. Local Audubon Society Chapters (including El Dorado Audubon) sponsor over 90% of the classroom programs across the United States. Since its inception in 1984, over 11 million youngsters have participated in the program. Audubon Adventures reaches approximately 14,000 classrooms and some 450,000 students each year. For more information, see the National Audubon Society's Audubon Adventures Frequently Asked Questions.
